Press ReleaseOur company was facing the same problems with second story installations that all Specialty Installers have, costly scaffolding setup and teardown time, high man-hour costs, and hazardous working conditions. Over the past four years and several proto-types later our company developed a lift system that answers all the above mentioned problems. The Patent Applications were filed and we licensed Wood’s Powr-Grip Company to manufacture the Window LadderLift exclusively for us and our distributors. The Window LadderLift is now in Full Production and available to all in need of a fast, safe, and effective way to install above-grade windows. How it Works You can easily lift the window unit safely by using the winch to precisely position the unit into the opening. The Window LadderLift uses a braking winch so there’s no need to flip levers to lock the unit into place. Just release winch handle and you’re locked into position, to lower the unit simply rotate the handle counter-clockwise. Typical installations require only a two-person crew and 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete because there’s no time lost staging and dissembling scaffolding, so payback for the Window LadderLift is fast. Jerry Danieley, a master installer for Alside Supply Company in Atlanta, stated that the first time he used the lift system on a 60” x 84” radius head replacement window, the installation was accomplished by two experienced installers in 2 ½ hours, and because of the small footprint of the ladder, he can replace windows from the inside or the outside of the house. Robert Kohler, Lead Installer for Sears Home Improvement Products stated that at first they thought the model 185c2 was a "bit pricey" but it exceeded all their expections and paid for itself in only 3 to 4 installations! |
